If you like blood, guts, horror, mayhem and dismemberment – served up with a great sense of humor – then you’ll love Brian Yuzna’s and Stuart Gordon’s H. P. Lovecraft adaptation that has gradually built up a faithful cult following over the years. It’s about a crazed medical student involved in experiments to bring the dead back to life. His system works but there are unintended consequences – and those consequences get very gory indeed. If you love to scream, then laugh, then scream again, Re-Animator is the movie for you.

The special effects department went through twenty-five gallons of fake blood to make this movie.
