“Tremors” Fest Continues

TREMORS FEST at the Violet Crown Cinema in Santa Fe
Friday-Sunday, April 28-30 – various times

All seven films in the Tremors series will be shown on the big screen! Cast and crew will be in attendance throughout the weekend, including filmmakers Ron Underwood, S.S. Wilson, Nancy Roberts, Share Stallings, and Don Michael Paul – plus Burt Gummer himself, actor Michael Gross (a NM resident)!  Santa Fe author George RR Martin plans to attend on Sunday the 30th.
A $25 badge gets you admission to the Opening Night Film (the original Tremors), post-screening Q&A, and an opening night party. This badge also gets you priority access to the films on Saturday and Sunday (Saturday & Sunday screenings are free to attend – first come, first served.

Friday’s screening begins at 7:00 pm.  On Saturday, Tremors 2: Aftershocks starts at 11:00 am, with other films starting approximately every four hours apart.

The Storyline of the 1st Film:  Natives of a small isolated town defend themselves against strange underground creatures which are killing them one by one.  (1990, PG-13, 96 mins)

How it Works:
Badge Holders ($25) — Your badge gets you admission to the Opening Night Film (Tremors), Post-Screening Q&A and Opening Night Party. You also get priority access to the films on Saturday and Sunday which are free to attend. All seating is General Admission.
Saturday and Sunday, badge holders will present their badge before each screening and receive a ticket that grants access to the auditorium. We will begin distributing tickets to badge holders 30 minutes prior to the film’s start time. Priority access will end 10 minutes before the film starts. If you have not claimed your ticket by then, your seat is not guaranteed. 
 
Badge pickup will begin Friday, April 28 at 4:30p MT.
Free Single Tickets (Saturday & Sunday Only) — For those who do not have a badge, we will have a rush line that will begin 1 hour prior to the film start time. 10 minutes prior to the film start time, the priority access for badge holders ends and we will begin distributing free tickets to the screening on a first come, first served basis to those in line. All seating is General Admission.

The Violet Crown Cinema is located at 1606 Alcaldesa Street in Santa Fe.
Violet Crown customers who purchase a movie ticket may receive up to 4 hours of free parking in The Railyard parking garage, located adjacent to the cinema. Garage entrance is located on Camino de la Familia Street.
