Science Fiction authors S.M. Stirling and Emily Mah, both from Santa Fe, will celebrate the release of their latest genre efforts – Theater of Spies: Black Chamber Book 2 and Chasing Sunrise: The Sunrise Prophecy Book 1 – respectively, with a chat and signing Saturday, June 8!

In Stirling’s new book, “The second novel in an alternate history series where Teddy Roosevelt is president once more right before WWI breaks out, and on his side is the Black Chamber, a secret spy network watching America’s back. After foiling a German plot to devastate America’s coastal cities from Boston to Galveston, crack Black Chamber agent Luz O’Malley and budding technical genius Ciara Whelan go to California to recuperate. Stirling lives in Santa Fe, and is well known for his Draka and Emberverse (Change) novels.  Black Chamber, the first book in a new alternate history series, was released last July.  Mah Tippetts writes science fiction and fantasy as Emily Mah and chick lit as E.M. Tippetts. In her previous career, she was an attorney who specialized in contracts, real estate, and estate planning, with a specialty in literary estate planning.
