Melinda Snodgrass & Lee Zlotoff Talk & Sign Books at the Jean Cocteau Cinema in Santa Fe

New Mexico authors Melinda Snodgrass & Lee Zlotoff will be in Santa Fe on March 19 to talk about and sign copies of their books as part of a Writers Series hosted by David Sidebottom.

About the Writer Series:  “A panel of 2 or 3 writers discussing the art of writing. Each episode will have a starting topic and then branch off as the conversation flows. The Author Spotlight series showcases a mix of both local and visiting authors. A Book signing will be held immediately afterward in the Jean Cocteau Cinema lobby.”

Melinda Snodgrass was a story editor and executive script consultant on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Her acclaimed episode, “The Measure of a Man,” was nominated for the Writer’s Guild Award for outstanding writing in a drama series. With George R. R. Martin, she co-created the popular Wild Cards series of shared-world novels and anthologies. Lee Zlotoff is an award-winning writer, producer and director of film and television with over a hundred primetime credits to his name. Among his more notable creations is the iconic MacGyver TV series that has continued to run around the world for over 30 years since its debut in 1985. And is now returning in a new MacGyver series on CBS and an upcoming feature film from Lionsgate Studios. Lee is also a recipient of the coveted Audience Award from the Sundance Film Festival for his film The Spitfire Grill, which has gone on to become a highly successful musical.

The event starts at 1:00 pm Sunday, March 19.  Special anniversary admission is just $5.00.
