The stars of Mystery Science Theater 3000 are back in select cinemas nationwide on Thursday, August 14 (with a taped encore on August 19) for a hilarious never-before-seen take on the mostly loathed 1998-reboot attempt of Japan’s King of the Monsters, Godzilla.

Join Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy, and Bill Corbett of RiffTrax for an uproarious riff on the negatively received 1998 flick! This two-night event will be your only chance to see the guys fire their wisecracking commentary at Godzilla on the big screen. In this monster offering, a giant reptilian creature, dubbed as “Godzilla” by the media, travels to New York City leaving a path of destruction in its wake. Dr. Tatopoulos (Broderick) later collects a blood sample and assumes that the creature reproduces asexually and is collecting food for its offspring.

Again, this special presentation takes place in Albuquerque at the Century Rio, Century Downtown and the Regal Cottonwood theaters.
