Hugo & Nebula Award-winning Canadian novelist Jo Walton will be at the Jean Cocteau Cinema in Santa Fe 7:00 pm Sunday, June 22, for a reading and talk around her new book, My Real Children.
Being released late May, My Real Children is a near-future tale of one person living parallel lives. Walton (born December 1964 in Wales) is a Welsh-Canadian fantasy and SF writer and poet. She won the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer in 2002, the World Fantasy Award for her novel Tooth and Claw in 2004, and the Hugo & Nebula Awards in 2012 for Among Others. Her novel Ha’penny was a co-winner of the 2008 Prometheus Award, and her novel Lifelode won the 2010 Mythopoeic Award.
