Join New Mexico Entertainment for a special screening of Child’s Play at The Guild Cinema. There will be giveaways throughout the evening.

Chucky (Brad Dourif) is a notorious serial killer who frequently escapes death by performing a voodoo ritual to transfer his soul into other people.  But this time, he’s stuck inside a “Good Guys” doll. Chicago detective (Chris Sarandon) is on the case, searching for the doll bought by a woman (Catherine Hicks) for her son (Alex Vincent).

Along with the film gaining a cult following, the box office success spawned a media franchise that includes a series of six sequels, merchandise, comic books, and a reboot film of the same name released in the summer of 2019.  Child’s Play was distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, although the rights to the series were sold to Universal Pictures in 1990, right before production on Child’s Play 2 started.

PROCEDURES DURING SCREENINGS: As required by the state, masks are mandatory during our movie screenings. We will also provide hand sanitizer and patrons will be reminded to perform basic hygiene practice while attending.

Please bring your payment receipt with your current state ID and check-in at the Guild Box Office 15 minutes before the show. If you do not have your receipt, please make sure if you have your ID. We will have a list at the box office. In the likelihood we have a sold-out performance or event, tickets are subject to be released for resale to those on the standby list if you have not checked ten minutes after the show starts.
