Get Your Indigenerd On…Again! Indigenous Comic Con 2018
The third Indigenous Comic Con takes place Friday-Sunday, November 2-4, at Isleta Resort & Casino, 11000 Broadway Blvd SE (exit on I-25 south). Featuring Indigenous creators, illustrators, writers, designers, actors, and producers from the worlds of comic books, games, sci-fi, fantasy, film, TV, and graphic novels. The Indigenous Comic Con seeks to highlight the amazing work that brings understanding about the Indigenous experience to the world of popular culture. Special guests, film screenings, game demos, artist alley, vendors, kids area, live music and more.
Special guests include actor Eugene Jonathan Joss (Parks & Rec), author Rebecca Roanhorse, artist Weshoyot Alvitre, comic creator Arigon Starr, artist Timothy Truman, artist Jeffrey Veregge, actor Georgina Lightning (Blackstone), artist Jim Terry, comic creator Elizabeth Lapensee, and others.
A three-day pass is $60.00. Friday-only is $25.00, Saturday is $30.00, and Sunday is $20.00. Programming is 10:00 am-6:00 pm Friday, 10:00 am-6:00 pm Saturday, and 10:00 am-4:00 pm Sunday.
