GUILD CINEMA DCP EQUIPMENT FUND DRIVE
Keif Henley, owner of the Guild Cinema writes, “Since 1966, the Guild Cinema has been a gathering place for the exchange of ideas & culture through independent, international and alternative film. We are Albuquerque’s sole independent, locally owned, personable movie theater providing the kind of invigorating, thought provoking and often delightful cinema you often can’t find anywhere else in town. In the last couple of years, however, many of the distributors we work with have required this upgrade in digital film presentation (computers, servers, hard drives, oh boy, it’s DCP!) that we simply can’t afford since we are a small business! In order to continue to provide the best cinema can offer AND be the enduring resource for community based, issue oriented movies for future generations to share in a communal space, we need to obtain this equipment! Donate Now at www.guildcinema.com, or you can drop off cash or check (made out to Guild Cinema, mailing address 3405 Central NE, Albuquerque NM 87106). Thank you so much for whatever possible!”
