HOBBIT SOCIETY FALL SPEAKER SERIES  Featuring Eric Velhagen

In a hole in the ground, there lived an artist…  Eric Velhagen is a Fantasy Artist whose largest assignment (also the funnest and most challenging) to date was illustrating George RR Martin’s 2018 Game of Thrones calendar.  Velhagen’s work also has been featured in fantasy art books and magazines, numerous galleries, conventions, and in Magic: The Gathering game cards.  As well as being nominated for three Chesley Awards, Velhagen has sold his work to collectors and fans worldwide.

The UNM Hobbit Society is proud to present Fantasy Artist Eric Velhagen.

December 7, 2018 – 6:30-7:30 pm, Honors College Forum.  The Honors College is located on the plaza level of the SHAC (Student Health).  For visitors familiar with the main UNM campus, Honors is north of Johnson Center and east of the Student Union Building.
Everyone – students and not – are welcome to attend.
