Can’t Stop the Serenity 12 (CSTS 12) is a unique opportunity to indulge your geeky side while doing some good! Since 2006, fans have organized worldwide screenings of Joss Whedon’s “Serenity” to raise funds and awareness to support Equality Now in their work for the protection and promotion of the human rights of women around the world. Join the Albuquerque Browncoats as they aim to misbehave for a good cause! The Albuquerque Browncoats are pleased to present Serenity on the big screen for the 9th year, and proud to support Equality now and our local charity UNM Children’s Hospital. Firefly Lives! We’ll have food, fun, merchandise, raffles, film and surprises at the beautiful South Broadway Cultural Center! The SBCC is a hidden gem of Albuquerque with its theater, gallery, library, and more! This year we are celebrating 12 years and more than 1.2 million dollars raised for charity!
