Programming – 2 for 1 Night – and ASFacts:

♣ New Mexico author & Bubonicon friend Benjamin Radford returns for his semi-annual visit!  Radford will be talking on The Psychic and the Serial Killer: Examining the Best Case for Psychic Detectives.

♥ Plus we’ll have our club officer elections for moderator, alternator and executive secretary for 2022.  Not to mention choosing a “challenge” ingredient or theme for our December 2021 Dessert Cook-Off…

Due to the Delta Variant of COVID, most likely a Mask Requirement will be in place.  We also will wipe down surfaces, and encourage social distancing.

First up, Benjamin Radford talks on The Psychic and the Serial Killer:  “Psychic detectives are everywhere: on hit TV shows, in the news, on talk shows. Many claim to find missing persons and solve cases for police and the FBI. But how good is the scientific evidence for their claims? Researcher and folklorist Benjamin Radford spent nine months investigating the “best case” for psychic detectives—about a serial killer in New Jersey, and the two police detectives who support the psychic’s claim. Come hear how he solved the baffling mystery of the psychic and the serial killer! — based on research in his UNM Press book Mysterious New Mexico: Miracles, Magic, and Monsters in the Land of Enchantment.”

Radford is author or contributor to over 25 books (such as Mysterious New Mexico and Big-If True: Adventures in Oddity), and has appeared on Good Morning America, MysteryQuest, MonsterQuest, Is It Real? and many other shows.

After Radford is done, we’ll have our annual Club Officer Elections!  And choose an ingredient or theme for the December cook-off/party.

Finally, the Halloween issue of ASFacts will be on hand.  Deadline for submissions is 7:00 pm Monday, October 4.

Newcomers are welcome with a $1.00 contribution to help pay our rent…

Remember, no outside food is allowed at St. Andrew.  Please be discreet with any candy.  Water/soda bottles and lidded beverage cups are permitted.
