Programming: Holiday Party —

Our 17th Annual Cook-Off  +  Short Holiday-Oriented Silly SF Films.  [Pre-packaged food only + facial mask recommendation.]

+ The Theme for this year is “Post-Apocalyptic Snacks.”  [Put on your thinking caps for this one!  Be creative!]  Due to COVID-19, only commercial pre-packaged individual snacks will be allowed!  We do not want anything that creates a need for communal serving (like a giant vat of pudding and one serving spoon).  Please bring enough of your pre-packaged snack (sweet, sour, salty, spicy, nutty, and/or healthy) for 16-27 people to sample, plus a platter or original box to hold your snack bags/boxes.
You Must Label your dish with its title and your name.  Please have the original packaging listing of ingredients in case someone has any allergy concerns!
We will provide small plates, napkins and some plasticware.  As much as possible, there will be prizes of books & DVD movies for creative snacks!
Yes, things will be a little different this year.  But this is a Fun Event and should not be taken too seriously!  Let’s have holiday merriment, and take it all the contest judging with a grain of salt…

+ Plus, we’ll screen various short films about the winter holidays from the various vaults of our members!  (Special thanks to Steve Kubica, Mike McCommas & Jessica Coyle for DVD/memory stick tech support.) These will tend to be comedies, music videos, and silly bits.

+ Finally, the annual December issue of SithFacts will be available. Submissions are needed by 7:00 pm Monday, December 6 (email Craig C.).  Contributions are welcome and needed!

Alcoholic beverages are not allowed! Water/soda bottles and lidded beverage cups are permitted.  Volunteers for set-up & clean-up are welcome!  Contact Craig if you can help!

Newcomers are welcome with a $1.00 contribution to help pay our rent…

DOORS OPEN AT 7:15 PM. Please do not arrive before this time. We have to set up the room ourselves, and straighten/clean-up at the end – toward 10:00 pm.  Use the north door (backside of church) as the Courtyard is locked up at 5 o’clock each day.
