Programming – Author Brian Jay Jones and Puppeteer Michael McCormick discuss Jim Henson, George Lucas and 3 of Their Films!
♣ Albuquerque author Brian Jay Jones, who wrote the official biographies on Jim Henson & George Lucas – and ABQ puppeteer Michael McCormick, who worked on The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi – will discuss these three films from Henson & Lucas, and the men behind them!
The Dark Crystal is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, Labyrinth turned 35 last year, and Return of the Jedi was filming 40 years ago for its 1983 release! Come hear stories of what the films meant to Henson & Lucas, behind-the-scenes secrets, and how it was working on the films.
We are strongly encouraging the wearing of facial masks while inside the building since COVID has not gone completely away. We also plan to wipe down surfaces, and encourage social distancing.
We will be in the Activity Room toward the back (north) end of the church. Park in the back parking lot, and then enter through the North Door.

Remember, no outside food is allowed at St. Andrew. Please be discreet with any candy. Water/soda bottles and lidded beverage cups are permitted.
DOORS OPEN AT 7:15 PM. Enter through the NORTH door of church and go to the Activity Room! Please do not arrive before 7:15 pm. We have to set up the room ourselves, and straighten/clean-up around 9:50 pm.
