East Coast author Brian Jay Jones, who once called Albuquerque and UNM home, comes to the Duke City to celebrate the release of his authorized biography on Muppet creator Jim Henson. As part of that visit, he will be at Page One Bookstore October 26 to talk about and sign Jim Henson: The Biography!

Jones was allowed to do research in the Muppet archives and talked to many of Henson’s friends and colleagues. This extraordinary biography—written with the generous cooperation of the Henson family—covers the full arc of Henson’s all-too-brief life: from his childhood in Leland, Mississippi, through the years of burgeoning fame in America, to the decade of international celebrity that preceded his untimely death at age 53.
