New Mexico authors (and Bubonicon friends) Reese Hogan and J. Barton Mitchell will be celebrating the releases of their latest books on Saturday, September 14.  Albuquerque area author Hogan is marking the release of her first traditionally published novel, Shrouded Loyalties, while Santa Fe writer J. Barton Mitchell has released military SF novel, The Razor.

In Hogan’s novel from Angry Robot, “Naval officer Mila Blackwood is determined to keep her country’s most powerful secret – shrouding, the ability to traverse their planet in seconds through an alternate realm – out of enemy hands. But spies are everywhere: her submarine has been infiltrated by a Dhavnak agent, and her teenage brother has been seduced by an enemy soldier.
