CLI-FI: ALTERED FUTURES EVENING IN SANTA FE
Cli-Fi: Altered Futures Through Film & Literature, promoting positive action towards climate change through the arts, takes place 5:30-8:00 pm Wednesday, May 22, at the Santa Fe Scottish Rite Center, 463 Paseo de Peralta in Santa Fe. This multifaceted evening includes four short sci-fi films exploring potential futures of water, waste and agriculture in the face of climate change. Following the films, Albuquerque authors Sarena Ulibarri and Lauren C. Teffeau will read excerpts from their climate fiction (Cli-Fi) and Solarpunk-themed stories. The evening ends with a discussion of an initiative to explore the development of a sustainable technology center in Santa Fe.
