Daniel Abraham visits Books on the Bosque 3:00-4:30 pm Saturday, July 22…

Daniel Abraham, New Mexico fantasy author and one-half of James S.A. Corey (The Expanse), will be at Books on the Bosque 3:00-4:30 pm Saturday, July 22, to celebrate his new novel, Age of Ash: The Kithamar Trilogy Book 1!  He also should be talking about Blade of Dream, the 2nd book in the trilogy, as it is being released on July 18 – four days before this book signing.

Age of Ash is the first book in an epic fantasy trilogy that unfolds within the walls of a single great city where every story matters —and the fate of the city is woven from them all.  Kithamar is a center of trade and wealth, an ancient city with a long, bloody history where countless thousands live and their stories unfold.
This is Alys’s.  When her brother is murdered, a petty thief from the slums of Longhill sets out to discover who killed him and why. But the more she discovers about him, the more she learns about herself, and the truths she finds are more dangerous than knives.  Swept up in an intrigue as deep as the roots of Kithamar, where the secrets of the lowest born can sometimes topple thrones, the story Alys chooses will have the power to change everything.

Daniel Abraham is the author of the critically-acclaimed Long Price Quartet and The Dagger and the Coin series.  He has been nominated for the Nebula and World Fantasy awards, and won the Hugo award and International Horror Guild award.  He also writes as James S. A. Corey (with Ty Franck) and MLN Hanover.  He lives in New Mexico.
