Beastly Books Presents author Douglas Preston & illustrator Raya Golden on November 6!

SANTA FE, N.M. — Join us for an afternoon with author Douglas Preston and illustrator Raya Golden to celebrate the release of their children’s book, Santa’s Dragon. Circle round Santa’s lap as he tells you the tale of Pablo, The Christmas Dragon! Get your copy signed by the author and illustrator, then grab a cookie and a warm beverage. It’s time to cuddle up to this great holiday story!

This children’s holiday book is described as such: “Ever since most of the dragons in the world mysteriously disappeared, Pablito the Purple Dragon has been alone. The only other dragon he knows is mean old Soggerty, and who wants to spend time with him? But when Pablito discovers Soggerty stealing Christmas presents from the children of Santa Fe, what is a good dragon to do? Will Soggerty ruin Christmas? Pablito doesn’t want all those children to wake up without toys, so with the help of a special visitor from the North Pole, he hatches a plan.”

This FREE event runs 1:00-3:00 pm at Beastly Books (next door to the Jean Cocteau Cinema).
