Jean Cocteau Cinema Presents Joe R. Lansdale on August 18!

SANTA FE, N.M. — Join us for an evening with one of our favorite authors, Joe R. Lansdale! Famous for his characters Hap & Leonard, along with a slew of brilliantly executed thrillers, Lansdale brings his newest title to the table, Moon Lake.

Lansdale’s newest novel revolves around the character, Daniel Russell, who was only thirteen years old when his father tried to kill them both by driving their car into Moon Lake. Miraculously surviving the crash—and growing into an adulthood—Daniel returns to the site of this traumatic incident in the hopes of recovering his father’s car and bones.

Happy Hour starts at 5:00 pm, followed by the Lansdale author interview at 6:00 pm, and then a book signing and mixer at Beastly Books at 7:00 pm.
