Programming – One Week Late & Virtual
One of our convention pals, Arlen Feldman of Colorado Springs (co-chair of COSine 2019 & 2021), visits via Zoom to talk about “Spying on Nixon: Adventures Dealing with a Crazy Relative.”
Also, there will be a really, really short summary of Buboni-Virtual Con 2020 – how many people watched videos on Sat, Aug 29; what went right & wrong; and money donated to non-profit organizations.
Arlen describes his talk as “Every family has that one weird relative – the one who collects spittoons or taxidermies roadkill, and that no one wants to talk about. In my family, that was my cousin Stephen (once removed). He lived like a hoarder, collected thousands of autographs – by fair means and foul – and sometimes really foul. And yes, he also regularly went through Richard Nixon’s trash.”
If we were at St. Andrew, then Newcomers would be welcome with a $1.00 contribution to help pay our rent…
Again, if a physical meeting then attendees would enter Through The North Door (back of church). St. Andrew locks up the courtyard at 5:00 pm, so park around back.
Remember, no outside food is allowed at St. Andrew. Please be discreet with any candy. Water/soda bottles and lidded beverage cups are permitted.
ZOOM SESSION OPEN AT 7:27 PM. Please do not arrive before this time. We will let people in, and start announcements at 7:35 pm.
