The 8th Annual Albuquerque Renaissance Faire takes place 10:00 am-5:00 pm Saturday, April 25, at the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum, 9201 Balloon Museum NE (just off Alameda west of I-25). It’s a Rain or Shine event…
A day of medieval activities is planned, including Music, dancing, magic, and more. From armored combat exhibitions and a Renaissance Village reenacting medieval life to Living History Demonstrations, there is entertainment for all. Stumble on entertainment that has traveled through centuries and over continents as you make your way around the grounds. There will be juggling, an equestrian jousting, Faire Ware Show: Pet Fashion Contest, a Free Children’s Realm, Village Shopping, and more.
Tickets: Adults $10.00, Children 3-12 $5.00, Children Under 3 years Free. Balloon Museum admission is included with Faire tickets.
NO “live steel” (steel weaponry) is permitted! That includes all members of the SCA, even if the weapon is “peace tied.” And No Outside Food or Beverages.
This Renaissance Faire is presented by the City of Albuquerque, the Society for Creative Anachronism – Barony of al-Barran, and Taste ABQ BioPark.
