Interested in Shopping at the Bubonicon Dealers Room?

The annual Bubonicon Dealers Room is open to the public (without charge). You do not need to purchase a Bubonicon Pass (though we hope you do).  There probably won’t be COVID protocols this year…  Come on down to the Albuquerque Marriott Uptown and see some of the best in Sci‑Fi and Fantasy merchandise: books, handmade arts and crafts, clothing, comics, and jewelry! Perfect for holiday shopping for that special sci-fi or fantasy fan in your life!

Dealer’s Room Hours should be:

Friday Aug 23 3:00 pm-8:00 pm
Saturday Aug 24 10:00 am-6:00 pm
Sunday Aug 25 10:00 am-4:00 pm

2024 Dealer Spaces – PLEASE READ BELOW

Due to the large volume of requests for a small space at our convention, we are using an application process for selecting which vendors will be able to offer their wares at Bubonicon 55.

The submission form will be available the last third of April 2024!  See above box to use Google Form application when it goes live.

Selected dealers, you will need to reply promptly, please, with contract and payment in order to ensure you actually have a space.

Basic 2024 Dealer Info:

      • $1xx.00 for One Space with One Three-Day Pass
      • $1zz.00 for One Space with Two Three-Day Passes
      • Dealers are Limited to Two Spaces Maximum
      • Additional B55 Passes available for $48.00 each, up to 3 additional passes per space maximum. To receive this rate, payment for additional passes must be included with the initial table contract/payment. And since we typeset dealer badges, we do need to know each individual’s name by no later than July 29th.
      • Payment must be received and the Contract concerning security, insurance and liabilities, taxes and refunds must be signed before a Space will be considered to be sold. Both the payment and the contract should be sent together, a space is not considered sold if we do not have both the payment and the contract AND the Dealer has received a confirmation email of the receipt of both items from the Dealers Liaison.
      • Spaces are approximately 6 feet wide and 6 1/2 feet deep, and there are 3x spaces total in the Dealers Room.
      • Electricity is available upon demand, but outlets are limited.
      • Phone/internet connection in the room available for an additional charge (set by the hotel at $15.00 per day) and arranged in advance. Deadline is July 31, 2024, to contact Luke DeProst to begin arrangements with the Marriott.
      • We have LIMITED SPACE  for Book Dealers for 2024. Book dealers are those that have the majority of their proceeds come primarily from book sales.  Further, we will be limiting the number of small press/self-published dealers spaces to 4 out of those 14 book dealer spaces.  Small press/self-published are book dealers with less than 12 titles.  We encourage small press/self-published parties to join efforts and split tables (example: Batwing Press splits a table with Wonder Girl Publishing – eureka, the cost goes down for both).  We also encourage small-press authors/publishers to bring additional items for sale.  If you would like to share a table but do not have someone lined up, please let us know via email and we will do our best to put you in contact with other interested parties.
      • We will keep a waiting list in the event of cancellations or changes, so please send an email to the Dealer Liaison to be considered for any space that might become free at a later date.
