Programming: Events, Schedule & Auctions

PROGRAM SCHEDULE:

The Program Schedule for Bubonicon 42 is now online! We have four-track programming this year - plus events in the Art Show. Late changes to the programming schedule will be prominently displayed at the convention.

EVENTS:

The Whole Convention’s Theme is “Life, The Universe and Everything,” but Saturday especially celebrates Douglas Adams’ silliness!

  • The 2010 Bubonicon 42 Program Schedule — click here to download (PDF).
  • Virgin Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster Contest, 12:30-2:00 pm in the Rio Grande. Contestants will try their skills at creating non-alcoholic versions of the famous Hitchhiker’s drink. Four prizes will be awarded. Rules are posted here in PDF format - please read them all.
To reserve your spot in the contest, please email: gargle–d•t–blaster–ät–hotmail–d•t–com
  • Vogon Poetry Slam, 5:45-6:45 pm in the Vista Norte. Use your creativity to write a short Vogon-worthy poem for a panel of judges. Poems must rhyme, and not be of epic length. You can download the rules and entry form here in PDF format.
  • Screening of the 2005 USA edition of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, 9:00 pm in our Main Programming Room. This 110-minute film features Sam Rockwell and Stephen Fry.
